Welcome to our lab website!

We are interested in understanding how the activity and endo/exosomal trafficking of integrins and other receptors contribute to the different steps of cancer progression. We are also investigating how cancer cells sense their microenvironment and how the biophysical cues from the tumor stroma determine cancer cell fate.

Our projects receive funding from the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme for research, technological development, and demonstration under grant agreement no. 615258 and from the Academy of Finland, the Cancer Society of Finland, and the Sigrid Juselius Foundation.
